High-ranking officials from European football’s governing body and the host FAs were confronted as they entered the venue by approximately 50 activists, who urged Israel to be expelled from international football because of the situation in Gaza.
Placards were raised with messages stating “Show Israel the red card” and “You are complicit”, while demonstrators shouted: “Kick Israel out.”
